Comin skraight outta the hard skreets of Decatur Georgia, Da Backwudz are on top of the game with the release of the Wood Work album which features tha club banggin singles “I don’t like the look of it” and “U gonna Love me.” These two singles are better than most rappers first singles because of their instant classic capability and lasting affect. Once you hear them u wont be able to get them outta ur head. Da Backwudz is comprised of Sho-Nuff and Big Marc who are cousins. These two cousins hit it big when they signed with Rowdy Records and Major Way Entertainment after spending a lot of them time being close to the church and having a strong background in gospel music

Wood Work could be the best rap album of the year because of this young duo’s instant success and ability to turn an amazing beat into an even better single by spittin straight knowledge on the track. This album has guest spots from legends such as George Clinton and Naz as well as current stars such as Slim Thug and Bigg Gipp. It’s single, “I Don’t Like The Look of It” is themed off Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, so the video is ridiculously hilarious. It also spits, “They say they hard but really aint and I DON’T LIKE THE LOOK OF IT” “I’m grippin 26’s in circles like roller rinks Paint drippin like kitchen sinks, caught real in chinchilla minks.” “But if you hustlin’ on my block I don’t like the look of it.” Da Backwudz is just keepin it real while rockin tha fans. They have the flavorrr of the souph and are reppin ATL reall hard. They will have no problem takin over where D4L and DFB have left off.

There “Chevy’s a classic” beat is a play off outkast’s Ms. Jackson song. They ride out this beat like no one else can and create something that rivals the originals greatness. They will be popular and they will push thousands of cds on tha skreets. But beyond that point their future depends heavily on how their sophmore album comes out.
