SMITTY – LIL HAITI

Miami is quickly becoming the center of American entertainment, with the championship team in the NCAA Final Four tournament being from Florida, the championship Miami Heat, Rick Ross who exploded on to the rap scene this year, Cool and Dre who have also made a giant splash in the rap game both producing some of this year’s biggest hits as well as Dre’s rap career taking off. In addition to all this, Miami is about to get even hotter in the rap game with Smitty fittin to release his debut mainstream album, “Life of a Troubled Child” on May 16th.

Smitty has been in the game for awhile and made a name for himself with his club bangin single, “Diamonds On My Neck.” Comin outta Little Haiti, Smitty worked hard to come up in the game and finally got a break when he spit his game for Dr. Dre on the set of Dr. Dre’s movie, “The Wash.” Smitty also contributed to Nelly, Murphy Lee, and P. Diddy’s hit single “Shake Ya Tailfeather” and B2K’s single “Bump Bump Bump” as a ghost writer. He has also worked with hip hop stars such as Trick Daddy, Scarface, and Kanye West. Smitty is smart and looking to leave his mark on the game. He attended Florida A&M University to major in journalism, but dropped out to persue the rap game.
