YourGrillz: First of all how did you get started in the online DJ buisness and in producing mix tapes?

DJ Hollywood: Well i started djing when i was 13 my uncle gave me my first dj set up its was like 20.000 worth stuff i was doing house partys i was 13 14 15 renting halls to trow partys doing clubs
Music will ever be a nation wide hit, or only remain popular in the south?

DJ Hollywood: I have a screwed version of some my mix cds yea i just moved back to south fla hollywood back to my roots and i hear people at car shows and othere places playing screwed music we call it slowed down or draged down here down south

YourGrillz: The top ten most requested songs list is tight because it keeps the streets informed at who is blowing up. Personally who do you think are the best rappers that entered the game this year and why?

There are alot rappers that are good to manny for me to name i be here typeing all day and night i really dont have a fav to say rapper or rappers i like every thing and any thing south music

YourGrillz: Certain regions tend to explode with rap talent from time to time (such as texas recently did with mike jones, paul wall, slim thug, chamillionaire, and the whole swisha house family) What city or state do you think will be next to explode with rap talent?

DJ Hollywood: I think its going to come back to fla we got alot hot artist we got….trick daddy rick ross dre..dela epidemic.dirty-red young cash.wes fif chubby rellle bloodraw.ackafool..gracis stacks.c-ride triple j J-Sav k Smooth man there alot fla got alot hot hot artist i wanna see fla blow again

YourGrillz: Speaking of southern rap stars, how does a underground artist make his or her way onto your online mix?

DJ Hollywood: They need to submit me there mp3s to dirtysouthradioonline@yahoo.com and i will check them out and if u send me a mp3, make sure its a 192 mp3 and its taged (song name-artist name) if u to lazy to tag your song u should not be sending it out to people u only get on good impression

YourGrillz: You have been in the rap game for awhile, who were the biggest influences to you in your DJ career?

DJ Hollywood: I’m 34 now i been djing since i was 13 when i was younger i allways went to the all ages partys cause i look like i was 16 im a big dude so i sue to just sit and watch the local djs here spin at the clubs i think the first teen club was when magic mike was djing and i think thats when i got the dj felling and wanted to do it i rember me my home boy use to make tapes we use to mix from a old ass gemmin mixer from to walkmans mixing the songs to tapes then i was 13 my boy u to rock the mic on the tapes like jam pony djs i would say jam pony is the one he really made me wanna dj

YourGrillz: Who were the best rappers you ever interviewed or worked with and why?

DJ Hollywood: Well i havent really got in to that side yet ive did a few interviews like we doing now threw emails

YourGrillz: What is the best part of your job?

DJ Hollywood: I get to meet people i would probley never meet artist and djs

YourGrillz: What are the advantages of being an online radio show versus an on air one?

DJ Hollywood: I can play what i want thats why i stared the station cause i was sick of hearing the same 40 songs over and over and over…..shit sattlie radio need to give me a channel xm or sirus all my lestners say why am i not on there when i had 6 million lestners last year that alot subscribers for a ex or sirus i have emailed them left calls never get a responce back to them

YourGrillz: Could you explain why switching to a pay for radio station was the best move for dirtysouth radio, earlier this year?

DJ Hollywood: We naver switched and it willl allways bee free to lesten in less we strike a deal with satlite radio they they have pay to lesten on there thats my goal is to get a channel

YourGrillz: What is the number one reason that someone interested in the southern rap game should listen to your site?
