Axis, a member of the group All Out Mafia, is the beat sellin MC that is on his way to puttin Colorado on the map in the rap game. He has been causin a buzz in the streets for a min now and its time u check out his music and the beats that he is sellin’. If you lookin for a beat that will help get u heard this may be ur chance. Axis has sold beats to errybody from Pitbull to Yung Joc.
The “New Beat 4 Sale” that you can listen to if you hit up Axis’ myspace.com page is a tight track that sample’s Bone Crusher and leaves plenty open to any MC that’s lookin to go to work on a crunk beat that will only support their flow. While your on his myspace page, don’t forget to check out his other featured singles, “Real Talk” “Damage Is Done” and “Stomp.” Axis aint no joke, and all the haters need to wake up and recognize talent when they hear it, cause real recognize real and like Paul Wall would say, “Playas rise, while hatas fall.”
Boastin that since the 9th grade this 19 year old MC has not lost a battle. He has to expect to be in the competitions crosshairs but after listenin to his tracks you may be able to understand why he aint lost. This kid has mad skillz and was featured on DJ Smallz Southern Smoke 35.
Axis’ track “Damage Is” is a cocky boast on some of the most real shit u ever heard. Axis is spitin for the people in the skreets and errybody needs to know dat. “The Whole Hood Love me, I leave them with out a choice, Cause wit out people like me, they really don’t have a voice, but I know they wont respect us till we start makin noise, And I came too far to catch a felony here, Imma hit the game so loud you’ll think I yelled in your ear.”
He manges to spit out a shout out to Colorado Springs, a town that hasn’t hurd much representation in the rap game. Also givin props to Yourgrillz.com’s maine man Young Jeezy is never a bad idea. “I don’t never write shit, I just make it look easy, I cant wait to blow and sign more deals than Young Jeezy.”
Is another track that praises realness and stayin tru. Stays true to Axis’ theme of real talk. “Its back to the drawin board, Im sick of being ignored, Its like walkin a tight rope and watchin someone cut the cord.” “Its hard to tell the truth, and I don’t know what honest is, cause all my life I was lied to, Aint no real promises…cant even trust my mom when it comes down to it, So wat im possed to do when the worlds against me? Get shot 10 times and say im harder than fifty, fuck that, I aint tryin to impress ya’ll, And if I ask for something sometimes, Im just tryin to test ya’ll, fake smiles and handshakes whenever they see me, and I bite quick cause I aint had a hand to feed me.” I COULD QUOTE the whole song but u gots to check it out cause me writin aint the same as hearrin Axis spit it. “Real Talk” is one dope track.
Axis’ track “Stomp” is a fight song. This track will pump u up and get u haters stomped on. With the Chorus, “ Stop drop and roll, stomp his ass out, that boy on fire, stomp his ass out, he don’t need no water just stomp his ass out, Stomp his ass out, I said Stomp his ass out.” This song proves to be a heavy track on Axis’ resume.
Over all Axis has more talent than most and a bright future in the rap game. This kid can make beats and flow over them with the type of lyrics that don’t just get you signed, they get u to the top of the game. The amount of street cred that Axis has is unreal, growing up in the streets of Kansas City Missouri and moving to Denver has givin him a great ability to reach an audience of people who most big name rappers in New York or Atlanta do not get to influence directly that often. His hustle is unmatched and errybody knows dat as mike jones would say, “If you do work You don’t eat, You don’t grind, You don’t shine.” Axis knows the meanin of those words all too well.
