In addition to the success of the single, “Good Googly Moogly,” Project Pat has released various other songs on mixtapes which are showin the streets that even though he was put up in the pen for awhile he aint lost his game. In fact with the recently gained popularity of Three 6 Mafia due to a Oscar Win and the success of the album, “The Most Known Unknowns,” most people would argue that Project Pat is in the best position of his life to get his music out to the people in the ghettos all over the world. Project Pat isn’t rappin the same pop song that every other rapper who is on the wall of every 12 year old girl’s room is spittin. He is spittin raw shit that is telling errybody the truth.
Project Pat’s newest underground single is his track, “Tell, Tell, Tell” which features rap’s phenom Young Jeezy. This song goes out to all the people in the game that are snitchin. And it is dope as all hell.
Project Pat’s position on the subject of snitchin’ and the theme of his single, “Tell, Tell, Tell” is summed up in his first verse:
“Police said they’d let me go,
If I gave up all my dogs…
Project Pat never Rat
even though Im Lovin Cheese…
Me I Kept My Mouth Shut,
Ears, eyes open wide,
I done witnessed lunch money,
Took down to homicide,
Project aint a baby to this game,
I’s a grown mayne.”
Young Jeezy graces this track with his cocaine laced rhymes and street cred. Jeezy is without a doubt the most accomplished rapper in the street rap game for the amount of time he has been pushin his rhymes. Young Jeezy has already released his double disk album, “Come Shop With Me,” his major album debut, “Thug Motivation: 101,” The DJ Drama Mixtape, “Can’t Ban The Snowman,” and his latest release, “Mo Icey.” Each of these cds has more talent packed into them than most of the other rappers in the game today. Young Jeezy flows on the Second verse of the track:
“Hold the Hell on,
What the fuck is goin on,
These niggas tattle tailin like this shit aint wrong,
Naww, Got Jammed up and started singin like a song,
Nigga You’s a bitch,
Might as well wear a thong,
Got Caught with some yams,
And a scale scale scale,
Now ya snitchin ass nigga wanna tell tell tell,
I see the hate in your eyes and its not a surprise,
Quit acting nigga I can see through your disguise,
They hated on Jesus so you think I give a fuck,
Im still trying to hit the lot and cop a bigger truck,
Some Times I wonder how I even made it this far,
Im a lucky young nigga,
I aint no fuckin rap star.”
The third verse is thrown down by Project Pat. He starts it off by rappin, “You went to jail, Same charge like nigga hurr, he got a twenty bar, I heard that you got a year?” Project is letting all the snitches know how he and the rest of the world feels about their skeet ways. Project Pat already has and has always had Memphis especially North North Memphis in a choke hold. He is now showin the entire world that he can not be stopped his hustle to the top is one of ghetto dreams and by teamin up with Young Jeezy who does errything for my hood, your hood, the hood, this track is unbeatable.
