Black Buddafly

This group of three sisters, Sophie, Amina, and Jazz, who were born in Germany are taking the US by storm with the release of their self titled album coming out in June 2006. They have signed to Russell Simmons’ label, RSMG Russell Simmons Music Group.
These girls are hott and the fact that they are sisters adds more to their appeal, because it seems like the all brother/ all sister groups are growing in popularity with the rise of groups like Da Muzicianz which consist of D-Roc from the ying yang twins and his two younger brothers, Da Birthday Boy and Mr. Ball. Also the success of Cherish which consists of four talented sisters leads one to believe that Black Buddafly will have no problem using their amazing skills to rise to the top of the rap game.

Their single Bad Girl which features Fabulous was one of the title tracks for the movie “Waist Deep” which starred Tyrese and The Game. This song has a sickkk beat and Black Buddafly is able to rock this beat like Destiny’s Child used to own tracks. Fabulous is able to drop some good lines on the track as well which has helped to make this song a major club banger across the country and has made it raise in the charts on airwaves across the country.

In “Bad Girl” Fabulous starts off the song and spits, “I’m a bad boy Like Martin and Will Show u what u been missing Like da kids on the carton of milk, Hey, I can snatch something bad outta the hood, And bring ‘em back to the pad out by da woods, You know the crew bring the bad outta da good.”
Blackbuddafly drops the refrain, “Ay if you feel me, Move wit me and don’t stop, Put your hands up, Soon as the beat drops, Cuz usually I’m not like this but tonight, I’m a bad girl, I’m a bad girl, And tonight we gonna show u How we get down.” This song is goin to be a favorite of girls who love to dance to the dance orders in the lyrics of a song.

Their other major hit is the song entitled, “Rock A Bye,” which is a syductively whipered style song that is perfectlyl put together and displays the group’s depth and vocal talent.
Some memorable lines are, “Ohh come over play house with me, Take control and be my daddy, And i’ll do whatever you say, Be a good girl for you any wish i’ll obey.” The chorus is also catchy, “Rock-a-bye i’ll be your baby, Lullaby, Make me go crazy, Rock-a-bye, so good and salty, Lullaby, put me straight to sleep.”

Overall, this group has proven that they can be taken seriously as a group of female vocalists and can contend with the other major forces of the rap game. I would like to see more rap stars collaborate with them in the future for lay’d back rap tracks. They should look into mixin it up with some chopp’d n screwed flavor from texas.
