Death Row is back to take back what they helped start. Daz Dillinger, born Delmar Arnaud, made it big in the rap game when his fellow Long Beach California native Snoop Dog featured him on his album “Doggystyle.” From that moment on, Daz was accepted into the rap game as an original G. Daz found himself collaborating with Dr. Dre, Tupac, and Warren G to name a few of his impressive collaborations.
It is now his collaboration with Kurupt that is bringin Daz’s name back to the streets. Kurupt, Daz, and Snoop Dog started off as friends but split after Daz and Snoop Dog decided to leave Death Row Records, but Kurupt became Suge Knight’s VP of Death Row. They remained bitter enemies until recently when Kurupt asked for a truth.
Daz and Kurupt’s new single, “Daz Thang” is blowing up the club. Daz has madd cred with the older people in the rap game and his new singles are gettin him in good wit the new rap fans. Daz’s decision to collaborate with Rick Ross on his track, “On Some real shit” is goin to bring hime back to the top. “On Some Real Shit” was produced by Jermaine Dupri so u knows its goin to be a hit. In fact Daz has teamed up with SO SO DEF in order to release his up and comin album “SO SO GANGSTA.”
Daz deffinently made the right choice in bringin his WEST Coast Flavor into a smooth track with Rick Ross in “On Some Real Shit.” The track is phat as all hell. My head almost exploded with silent crunkness while listenin to this track for the first time. Daz is praisin the “Diamonds on his wrist da diamonds on his neck” as well as his “thousand dollar whip” in this track. The chorus that samples Jermaine Dupri’s voice spitin’ “ON SOME REALLL” the chorus makes this song gangsta as hell. U needs to get this single and bump it n ur whip cause its slowed down beat with huge bass is the shit. Rick Ross, drops madd verse bout how, “Miami known for the best O’s.” Teamin up with the King OF the MIA has made Daz a major force to deal with. You need to cop Rick Ross’s Album “Port Of Miami” when it drops in September.
The main single of Daz’s return to greatness however and the track that is goin to get DPG major recogniztion is “Daz Thang.” This track is produced by Jermaine Dupri and features verses by kurrupt. The single “Daz Thang” features lyrics that are comin at cha hard straight from the touch streets of Long Beach and LA. The beat that Jermaine Dupri produced for this track has catapulted this track far beyond your average single from a comeback rapper.
“Daz Thang” is probably the track with the hottest dance beat outta any comeback song this summer. Dis Track is bangin. If u aint heard it u needs to check dis shit out cause u’ll jump back at the greatness of the track so quick ya prollay hurt ya self.
The video for “Daz thang” is keeping it real tru to Daz’s way of life and gots tons of half naked and full naked chicks. Its not a good thang, its not a bad thang, it’s a “DAZ TAHNG.”
This whole album might bring Jermaine Dupri back into the gangsta spotlight. Back to the Days when he and Master P used to rap about platinum and Gold, back to the days when he and Jay-Z used to ride around in a Ferrahri and say money aint a thang. Jermaine Dupri is movin on up. He bought to straight own the game.
