Born in 1982 as Dwayne Michael Carter J.R., That’s right do the math. Lil Wayne is only 24 years old. He has been in the game since the age of 11 and has accomplished much more in his 13 years of rapping than most rappers accomplish in their entire lives.
The Hottest of the Hot Boys. Lil Wayne has been reppin his native New Orleans hard all of his life and will never stop. He can not leave the south behind. It is the south that made him and he is currently getting his degree from the University of Houston to keep it real in the game. Lil Wayne doesn’t just want to be another old rapper in 20 years. He is getting his education so he can OWN the game.
Lil Wayne is also using his unreal influence in the game right now to promote the hottest clothing line to hit the rap scene in years. A Bathing Apes is the clothin line that is being backed by Wayne, Young Jeezy, and Jay-z to name a few. In a few years this rare and exclusive clothing line from Japan that only has one store in America, (Soho, NY) will be so common you’d be like who aint wurrin it.
The Block Is Hot, I Need A Hot Girl, Where do weezy F baby’s hits stop? I still remember buying 500 Degrees the day it came out and thinking damn Lil Wayne is really on his way to take over the game havin this cd seem like it is one of his last even though he is younger than the majority of rappers in the game. Now With the success of Tha Carter ( one of the best cds ever) and Tha Carter II, Lil Wayne has proven that rap is his skill and he owns the game.
Tha Carter II’s first single was “Fire Man” and it blew up. It’s next big single is “Hustler Musik” in which he spits, “Ima paint da city red wit dis one, Ima head wit dis one, See u fuckin wit da boys who tote toyz way b4 christmas. No assisstance jis Thta persisstance me. That committment if- I don’t get it somebody gone die tonite- I kno my vibe is tight- And i deserve da throne- if da kid ain’t right- den let me die in his souls…So i be who i be dats me, Dats Weezy F. Baby and, Please say da maotherfunckin, So i be whoo i be dats me, Dats Weezy F. Baby and, Please say da motyherfuckin… Money iz da motivation, Facin da avenue, Back touchin da wall, Got da weed, Got da gun… Got beamer in my palm emancipatin black, Peter pan fly till I die what u sayin, Bathin ape, Evisu iz wat i stand, got me feelin, Like scarface Like da Koheba.”
“Hustler Musik” has the chorus, “Baby u gotta kno dat im just out here doin what i gotta do 4 me and u and we eatin, So bitch, y da fuck iz u trippin. Im takin dese chances
My head 2 da sky, My feet on da ground, My fingas 2 da judge if da money don’t move,
And i won’t budge, Won’t budge, No i won’t budge no, Nall.”
“Hustler Musik” is one of the best songs out right now and Lil Wayne is Flauntin the bathing Apes like nothing else. The video for “Hustler Musik” is dope and features part of the song “Money On My Mind” which is number 3 on “tha Carter.” The beat to this song gives me crazy flash backs to the song by DTP that goes something like “When we were kids” and I skraight love this track.
I can not believe how grown Lil Wayne has become and How amazing this cd is. If you don’t have Tha Carter II get it now. The track “Grown Man” is the street anthem. Keep it hood and cop this ish.
