Owning St. Louis’ hype right now is a young rapper by the name of Baby Huey. His skills on the mic are far beyond his years however and given the right opportunity this artist will explode onto the scene. He has all of st. louis saying Pop Lock and Drop it, which is the title of his first single.

Pop Lock and Drop it is a strip club anthem. It is a display of Baby Huey’s lyrical talents as much as an ode to poppin on a hand stand. This single gives Baby Huey a chance to embrace his realness while aimin for the big time. Baby Huey spits, “And ya u probably roll wit me cause theres money in my pocket so before then I got to see u pop lock and drop it.” He aint actin like he is sunnin’ that he knows hes not. He’s just being a pimp and doin what a pimp do. Shown when he spits,“I aint got to be your man but I really wouldn’t mind. We aint got to talk again Im just tryin have a time.”

The final part of the song raps up quickly what erry good strip song should be bout, “At first I thought I was trippin’ but my vision gettin clearer you movin that thing around as if you practice in the mirror. She doin the new dance what the next man said. Im like naw she just pop lockn’ on a hand stand.”

Baby Huey also has a single featured on Nelly’s pimp juice site, www.letitloose.com. The song is entitled “Doing what a pimp do.” The website is fitting because the song is basicly about pimp juice. And with the hook being, “What up Nelly Im doin wat a pimp do,” Nelly couldn’t help but give this STL brother a spot on his site.
Other memorable lines of the song were, “sittin on jeff gordans them known as deuce fours. I sip pimp juice to let my pimp juice flow.” “If yee aint got the juice of the pimp u aint pimpin. And ive been pimpin since pimpin been pimpin.”

Finally Baby Huey lets it be known that he is reppin the STL as hard as he can,“Know that I’m soo Saint Louis off the way that I talk. U aint got to hurr me just know it off the way that I walk.” All said and done Baby Huey is going to contribute greatly to the future of St. Louis’ rap game which seems to be getting better by the minute.
